As Always Happens

They need a reliever. When we acquired Derrek Lee from the Marlins, in one of the biggest heists in Cub trade history, we were told that he was a slick fielder with more power than Mark Grace. For the most part, that's been true. On paper, they look shortly better than what their crazy record indicates, but in my eyes, it looked like a lot of the players were not enabling and flew the way things were. Malignantly, somewhere in the mix we were duped into believing some ridiculous hype that he.. There needs to be a plan with the organization, whether to rebuild around our hitting, and get the pitching we need, or perhaps consider trading our rawest players and see if we can get our crazy ending under control to compete. .
